BLS Demonstration at KERIAN EDUTECH 2.0 Carnival
i‑CSC conducted a BLS demonstration booth at KERIAN EDUTECH 2.0 Carnival held at SMK Kubang Kerian on 20–21 May 2026. Students, teachers, and the community were introduced to CPR, AED use, and essential life‑saving skills through interactive sessions.
Robotic Endoscopic System Simulation
i‑CSC hosted a simulation‑based test drive of the EDGE Endoscopic Multi‑Port 1000 Robotic System from 10–15 May 2026. Specialists from multiple surgical disciplines participated in hands‑on sessions to explore robotic surgical technology in a controlled learning environment.
Simulated Patient (SP) Management Course
i‑CSC conducted a Simulated Patient (SP) Management Course featuring training in SP methodology, scenario development, and moulage techniques. The programme enhanced faculty competency in delivering realistic, simulation‑based teaching and assessment.
Introduction to Microsurgery Programme
The Hand & Microsurgery Unit, Department of Orthopaedics USM in collaboration with i‑CSC, conducted an “Introduction to Microsurgery” programme on 14 May 2026. The session featured hands‑on training using operating microscopes and microsurgical instruments to develop precision‑based surgical skills.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Course for Postgraduate Students
On 15 February 2026, i‑CSC conducted a BLS Course for postgraduate trainees in collaboration with Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and USAINS. The programme covered CPR, AED use, choking management, and live practical assessments. Participants received a 2‑year BLS certification upon completion.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Training
Yesterday, i‑CSC successfully conducted a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training programme aimed at strengthening lifesaving skills in managing pediatric emergencies. Participants engaged in hands‑on airway management, high‑quality CPR, rhythm recognition, and team‑based resuscitation scenarios.
This session supports our commitment to quality, safety, and readiness in pediatric critical care.
Microsurgical Skills Training (MiST)
The Orthopaedic Surgery team conducted a Microsurgical Skills Training (MiST) session for their postgraduate trainees, in collaboration with i‑CSC.
Participants practised micro‑instrument handling, micro‑suturing, and precision techniques using dedicated microsurgical workstations.
