About the Centre

Integrated-Clinical Simulation Centre (i-CSC) was built in 2001, located at School of Medical Sciences (PPSP), Health Campus, Kubang Kerian. Our centre fully equipped with basic and intermediate simulation models to support teaching and learning for undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Over the years, the use of technology has revolutionizing the way the medical treatments and surgeries are done. It is imperative that this fundamental shift of incorporating technology in medical treatments and diagnosis is reflected fully at the point of medical training. It is obviously critical that medical doctors and students embrace these changes and trends very early in their student days so that the doctors that we produce are of world class standards and relevant to the current needs.

Thus, we have upgraded services in i-CSC and developed 7 simulation satellites in few selected department in School of Medical Sciences with the hope of bringing USM to the next level of medical training and provide higher learning experience through healthcare simulation practice.
