FAMOUS is a Non-Governmental Organization, that was established since 4th July 2007. Our association boasts a robust membership totalling 407 individuals till date. Our membership spans across the nation, reflecting our commitment to serving communities nationwide.

Our association has garnered international recognition, primarily for its exemplary efforts in promoting Smoke-Free Cities and Tobacco-Free Generation through Inisiatif Kelantan Bebas Asap Rokok(IKBAR) initiatives. We are deeply honored to have been recognized by SouthEast Asia Tobacco Control Alliance(SEATCA), as one of the proactive members actively engaged in shaping new policies during their annual meeting

In addition, we have established a model community program called as Kampung Angkat FAMOUS, situated in Kampung Bahagia,Kuala Krai,Kelantan which serves as our community base for promoting health and stands as an exemplar for other areas.

Futhermore, we cater to the welfare of our members, both those who are still actively employed and retirees, ensuring comprehensive support for all. We also collaborate with the Family Medicine Department of USM to deliver high-quality training and capacity-building initiatives for our members, including those pursuing postgraduate studies.

Overall, our association has achieved remarkable milestones over the years, and we warmly welcome new memberships and collaborations to continue our journey of impact and growth
