Year 3 MMED (Family Medicine) Course Overview
Year 3 of the Master of Family Medicine posting is 52 weeks duration. All out-campus students are required to return to Hospital USM, where the majority of the posting will take place. However, for the maternal and child health component, the posting will occur at health centers over a period of 12 weeks.
During these 52 weeks, students also must complete their research data collection. Upon conclusion of the posting, an exit examination comprising both theoretical and clinical components will be done. The students must pass both components of the exam in order for them to proceed to year 4 posting.
