On 17 August 2026, our team gathered for an insightful CME session presented by Dynamed, focusing on medical compression garments and stockings.

Compression therapy plays an important role in the management of lymphedema, from pre-operative preparation to post-operative care and long-term maintenance. The session provided valuable practical insights into the selection of appropriate compression materials and pressure gradients to optimise patient comfort and therapeutic outcomes.

Adding a fun and memorable touch to the hands-on session, our very own sifu in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Sukari Halim stepped in as the model, sportingly demonstrating the compression garment in action. A great example of learning by doing and leading by example.

Our sincere appreciation to the Dynamed team for taking the time to visit us and share their knowledge and expertise. The session was a valuable opportunity for our team to strengthen our understanding and enhance our clinical practice.
