About Ophthalmology and Visual Science @USAINS

Department Ophthalmology and Visual Science provides non-subsidized health services for fully paid patients under Executive Health Services, Universiti Sains Malaysia. This is run by USAINS HEALTHCARE. USAINS aims to utilize readily available skills and facilities within the USM Health Campus to provide corporate services with specialists care and consultation.

Scope of service provided is both general ophthalmology and specific fields of interest including;

• paediatric
• ophthalmology and strabismus
• retina
• cornea
• glaucoma
• oculoplasty
• neuro- ophthalmology

Both inpatient and outpatient services are available. Patients can also opt for daycare surgeries.
