The Neonatology Unit is dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for premature and critically ill newborns. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to supporting babies and their families through every stage of neonatal care, from intensive treatment to safe transition home.

About the Unit

The Neonatology Unit provides specialised care for newborns requiring close monitoring, respiratory support, and multidisciplinary management.

Level of Care 

  • Nilam 1 (Level III NICU) & Nilam 2 (Level II NICU) – providing advanced respiratory support, invasive monitoring, and comprehensive neonatal care
  • 1 Timur Belakang, Special Care Nursery (SCN) – for babies requiring intermediate care and observation

 Admission Criteria

We care for:

  • Premature infants
  • Babies with respiratory, cardiac, infectious, or neurological conditions
  • Newborns requiring specialised monitoring or nutritional support
