From Field to Findings: Medical Students Present Community Profile, Community Diagnosis, and Plans for Health Intervention 

28 May 2025 – A total of 126 medical students successfully presented their community health projects after completing Residency I and II, which form part of the Community and Family Case Study (CFCS) Program. The students were divided into 5 groups, and each group presented their Community Profile, Community Diagnosis, and Plans for Health Intervention based on fieldwork conducted in selected sub-districts (mukim).

Throughout the residency, students went on the ground, engaged directly with the community, collected health data, and identified key issues faced by the local population. The presentation session began with a welcoming speech by the CFCS Program Coordinator, Mej (R) Dr. Ahmad Filza Ismail. Their learning outcomes were reflected through comprehensive presentations and proposals for health interventions that were relevant, practical, and sustainable. 

The presentations were evaluated by a panel of professionals:
- AP Dr. Nur Azwany Yaacob
- AP Dr. Surianti Sukeri
- Dr. Anis Kausar Ghazali

The panel provided constructive feedback and praised the students' commitment and dedication in understanding the health needs of the community holistically.
