Anaesthesiology & Intensive Care Duo Clinch 1st Runner-Up at PKI Badminton Tournament 2025

21 June 2025 | Kota Bharu, Kelantan — The Department of Anaesthesiology & Intensive Care, School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), proudly congratulates Dr. Muhamad Aizuddin Bin Ismail, Lecturer and Anaesthesiologist, and Mr. Hakimi Yazit, Medical Assistant, for their outstanding performance in the PKI Badminton Tournament 2025 held on 20 June 2025 at Dewan Badminton KS1, USM Health Campus.

Organized by the Persatuan Kebudayaan India (PKI), this annual tournament drew spirited participation from students and staff across the Health Campus. Competing under the banner of departmental pride and sportsmanship, Dr. Aizuddin and Mr. Hakimi teamed up in the Men’s Doubles category and secured the 1st Runner-Up position after a series of highly competitive matches.

Their success not only reflects their athletic prowess but also symbolizes the department’s strong culture of balance between academic excellence, clinical commitment, and personal well-being. The department extends its heartfelt appreciation for their enthusiastic participation and congratulates them for representing the Anaesthesiology & Intensive Care team with distinction.
