A total of 90 pediatric patients receiving treatment at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Hospital, here, for congenital heart disease have benefited from a charitable surgery program.

The surgeries were performed through the USM-Healing Little Heart (HLH) Cardiothoracic Welfare Program, which has been ongoing since 2015.

Every year, USM Hospital collaborates with the HLH medical team to perform heart surgeries on the affected pediatric patients.
