Short synopsis:
Esophageal perforation is a rare presentation in emergency department. It is usually occurred because of trauma. To make the condition worse, the presenting symptom is not specific, and it is quite difficult to detect esophageal perforation.
This case discuss regarding a recent case presented in emergency department with complaint of sudden onset of shortness of breath. Patient had history of missing part of denture and OGDS was done in other hospital. It turned out that patient had esophageal perforation, which at first treated conservatively, then later surgical intervention done.
