Consisting of 20 core staff members including clinical and scientific lecturers, scientific officers and clinical laboratory technologists, the Department is actively engaged in routine laboratory tests to aid in the diagnosis of patients with immunological disorders as well as other conditions related to the immune system.
Principal investigators and researchers within the Department have consistently generated new knowledge through our research and distribute that knowledge through teaching involving both the medical or health sciences students.
Apart from invariably providing high quality clinical diagnostic services, achieving MS ISO certifications and externally-audited management standards, we have continually aspired to strive for an ever vibrant research environment, to increase novel scientific discoveries and translatable researches, in parallel with the emphasis of knowledge-economy that fuels the growth of the country towards a developed nation.
