Kubang Kerian, Kelantan, 29 October 2025 – The School of Medical Sciences (PPSP), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), organised the “Walk with Dean: Brisk Walk & Plogging” program in conjunction with PPSP Sustainability Week at the Sports Complex 2 Field, USM Health Campus.
Carrying the theme “Solidarity for Palestine,” the programme combined fitness and sustainability through brisk walking and plogging—an activity that involves walking while collecting litter to promote awareness of cleanliness and environmental care.
PPSP extends its highest appreciation to the Dean of PPSP, Professor Dr. Kamarul Aryffin bin Baharuddin, for officiating and participating in the activity together with the PPSP community.
Appreciation is also extended to Professor Dr. Aziah binti Daud, Deputy Dean of Industry, Community and Development Engagement, for her guidance and commitment in ensuring the success of this programme.
Organised by the PPSP Sustainability Committee in collaboration with LIKP, the programme successfully cultivated a spirit of volunteerism, sustainability, and global solidarity, in line with USM’s aspiration as an APEX University committed to global well-being.
