Graduate Course

In line with the aspirations of the Malaysian government and in tandem with USM "We Lead" motto, the USM Department of Neurosciences of the School of Medical Sciences contrive to lead and provide equal opportunities to produce a reputable neuroscience training programme for inspired young graduates in the related fields, both locally and abroad.We are affiliated with the Center for Neurosciences Services and Research,University Sains Malaysia.

The Department of Neurosciences runs four graduate Degree courses for Basic,Applied and Clinical Neurosciences:

  • MSc (Research) / PhD [Basic Neurosciences, USM]
  • Integrated Neuroscience Programme (Mixed Mode) [Master of Neuroscience / Doctor of Neuroscience USM]
  • Master of Cognitive Neuroscience
  • Master of Psychology
  • Master of Surgery - Neurosurgery [M.S (Neurosurgery) USM]
