Production of Test Result

Laboratory test results will be reported in the LIS system after verification. The production of laboratory results is through the following ways:
 
Immediate results.
In the case of immediate application, the test results are communicated orally to the applicant by telephone and the LIS system.
 
Non- Immediate results.
For non -immediate applications, test results will be entered into the LIS in compliance with the test production time.
 
External application.
For external test applications, results will be sent by mail.

Specimen Storage

Once the specimen is received by the laboratory for processing, whole blood will be centrifuged to obtain serum. If the test tube is damaged or broken, the test applicant will be notified immediately. This serum will be processed immediately for routine testing or stored for non -routine testing. Please refer to the serum storage procedure table to know the stability of the specimen before testing. For HbA1c testing, specimens do not need to be centrifuged.

This serum will be processed immediately for routine testing or stored for non -routine testing. Please refer to the serum storage procedure table to know the stability of the specimen before testing. For HbA1c testing, specimens do not need to be centrifuged.

Time to deal.
 
The Endocrine Laboratory operates during office hours. Laboratory services are not conducted on friday, saturday, public holidays and event holidays. Specimen receipt time is opened at the following times:
 
Day Morning Evening
Sunday – Thusday 8.10 am – 12.55 pm 2.00 pm – 4.30 pm
Friday – Saturday Holiday Holiday

Delivery of specimens outside of the time of receipt will not be entertained.
